hi emily and brett, i was just think my american bulldog kaizer is max's garandson lol, i got kaizer off tracy and griff and they bought mac and mia off u, kaizer is the spitting image of max but only has 1 brindal patch on his eye. i would like to bring kaizer to these tornement but i dont know how togo about it and get involved, if u could right back and send me in some direction that would be great thanks x x

Sorry but that comment about the dogs being over weight is aload of crap thats wot real american bulldogs are ment to look like
ive seen there dogs up close and theres not 1 bit of fat on them.american bulldogs should be big and strong not short and skinny
like people are doing to take them in the show ring

Nice website, but the majority of your dogs are over weight esp Bozo. You need to geta few lb off them and they could be nice

Excellent site, I am looking at getting a pup myself as soon as I am in a better financial position, I must add though how surprised I am at some of the stupid questions being posted on here!! Surely before adopting any breed of dog you should carry out some basic research ie: what to feed it!!!
Anyway any info regarding breeders or available litters in the Hull area will be greatly appreciated.

hello, i have an american bulldog and all he thinks about is food and goin running. He ways 190 kg and is massive. His shoulders are 28 inch wide and head is 18 inch. He eats 36 tins of dog food a week and a 20kg bak of dry. What should he be eating

Heloo can someone tell me roughly how much bowls of food i should feed my 4 month and half american bulldog he is 24 kg.

it is normal for an american bulldog to lay on its side an breath hard when he is tierd you do not have to go to the vet about that my ab always does that

hi ive been looking at ur website and you have some lovely dogs.I have an 18 month old american bulldog. he has a great tempermant and is always full of energy i was wondering if u could help me with his feeding.He has his normal meals daily but that never seems to be enough for him i dont want to over feed him but im a worrier when it comes to my dog coz other times i think he looks a bit skinny but the vet said its his age and not to worry.hes great with kids and is tiger brindle in colour

I am about to start the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award with Jack (Millie and Max), if you would like to add him to your KCGC page.

He's been going to weekly training classes since 12 weeks and really enjoys it (especially the socialising !). He's so keen to get out of the car when we get there. His best friend is a labradoodle of the same age called Jasper, they've been in the same class since the beginning and will wrestle til the cows come home ! Jack can now do a timed 2 minute down-stay off lead, surrounded by other dogs and those doing agility, tracking and all sorts, we are really pleased with him. We intend to eventually get up to KCGC Gold (in time...!).

Good website.

We have a 7 1/2 month old AB. He has been great so far. One thing we have noticed is that when he gets over excited or has been running flat out he will collapse on his side and hyperventilate. He does not pass out bt he lays very still for a while. Have you ever heard if this with this breed? We are obv. going to our vet about this as he has had about 3 episodes now and we want to get it checked out.

Hi Hachi,
I don't think this breed in general make a good guard dog, although they can look menacing they are not like german shepherds who are well known for their guard dog skills. If you do want to pursue it then my advice would be to go to a well respected dog trainng class in your area, we only have one AB who barks when strangers arrive, Eva, she was trained to do that but shes as gentle as they come and I would never train an AB to do anything more than bark to alert you to visitors. Hope that helps.

I would also just like to say what good breeders the Staniforths are how pleased I am with one of their puppies. We received regular updates and photos from day 1 when the pups were born and made a vsit over a Saturday and Sunday when they were nearly ready to go, getting to know both Max and Millie. All the dogs were extremely nice natured and well socialised. i just have to say what amazing dogs these are and what excellent owners they have . we bought our puppy floyd from here and what a delight it was we met millie and max before the pups where born then when they were born we got photos and info daily. floyd is now 15 weeks old and is getting very big he is a great ameriacn bulldog . thanks emily and brett for everything think we ll defo be back

Hi - really like the look of your dogs. We have been Staffie owners over the last 12 years but sadly lost our oldest one due to ill health. We still have his daughter who is now 8 years. We are thinking about an ABD for our next pet - the house is just too quiet with one. Do you know of, or could recommend a breeder in Scotland? If not, we would think about travelling down to you - but obviously if you know of anyone who is a reputable breeder, we would welcome your comments. Thanks J.

Your dogs are some of the best looking american bulldogs I have come across on the web. I'd say its quite an achievment to have the best looking examples of the best looking breed of dog! your dogs look geat! i had to look at all your pix, me and my boyfriend have a 4yr old he weighs 12.5. he very helthy and active, hes all white with one red patch just off his left eye. he loves play and runing about the feilds. hes great with kids and other people. we'r very proud of him.

hi i own an american bulldog, he is 14 months and weighs 14.9, is this a heathy weight for the breed? and what food do you recomend for him? I picked him up off some bloke in manchester who had a litter, they where not ABRUK reg and have now since found out that he should not have been selling them willy nilly to anyone who knocked on his door, my mother owns one and says the best food to buy is ACN is ths true?
